Stephanie A. Miner

Stephanie joined Mason Bennett Johncox as an associate after completing her articles at the firm. Stephanie practices primarily in the areas of Civil Litigation and Employment Law.

Stephanie holds an honours B.A. from Queen's University in Political Science and International Development, graduating with distinction. She received her J.D. from Dalhousie University where she was awarded the Schulich Scholarship in Law and the McIntosh Award for excellence in the area of public affairs. Stephanie was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2017.

In her litigation practice, Stephanie represents corporations and individuals in a variety of contractual disputes at all levels of court. In her employment law practice, Stephanie advises both employers and employees regarding employment contracts, workplace policies, termination packages, wrongful dismissal, and human rights matters.

Stephanie has previous experience working at Human Rights Watch on a variety of international legal matters, at the Ontario Provincial Legislature in the area of policy and communications, and at Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic where she acted as a Student Case Manager.

Stephanie sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade, the Whitby Chamber of Commerce, the Durham Region Law Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.

Growing up in the Durham Region, Stephanie was an avid dancer, competing and performing throughout North America. In her spare time, Stephanie continues to teach dance in the community.
