Thomas is building a corporate and business law practice, advising clients on a wide range of matters including incorporations, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, business purchases and sales. He is dedicated to helping business owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations structure, grow, and protect their businesses with practical and sound legal advice.
Born and raised in the Durham Region, Thomas takes pride in working with clients in the same community where he grew up. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree at Ontario Tech University, graduating with highest distinction, before earning his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School. While at Osgoode, he was recognized for his legal research and writing with the Samuel Rubinoff Prize in Legal Process and the Right Honourable John R. Cartwright Prize for winning the Legal Process research competition.
Thomas first joined Mason Bennett Johncox as a summer law student and returned each summer while completing his studies. After articling with the firm, he was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025 and is proud to continue serving clients as part of the MBJ team.
